Our busy weekend

Saturday we went off Cape to watch Savannah's soccer game. (She is the one in green) We didn't win the game but the team played really well. The second game of the season is coming up this weekend.

Sunday morning we went to Provincetown bright and early for church with Papa. There was a mass in memory of Gramma and Mark. After church we went to a flipper breakfast. For those of you who don't know what a flipper is, it is fried dough, and yes, we eat them for breakfast sometimes. By the end of the meal Jadzia was covered in syrup. We also went to see Nana that same morning. I can't believe Nana will be 97 this year.
After breakfast we drove back to Yarmouth to go to the open house at the new firehouse in town. Cassidy climed up to "drive" the fire truck and posed for a couple of pictures. Jadzia was a little to frightened to climb up for a picture but she was very interested in the CPR dummies they had set up. Savannah was happy that one of her friends were there, otherwise she is 13 and too big to get excited about firetrucks.
After the firehouse we came home to work on Cassidy's Sacagawea project. Joe helped her make the cradle board and I helped her with the dress. I think we did pretty well. We were also able to squeeze in a movie, "Nims Island" for Cassidy, her friend Julianna, Jadzia and myself. "Shutter" for Savannah and her friend, Lizabeth. They were terrified and watched almost the whole movie with their fingers in their ears, because if you don't hear the movie it is not as scary......
